Cross Channel Ferries

The complete range of ferries to France is covered with almost 20 return routes with Europe's leading ferry companies as well as the Channel tunnel option using Eurotunnel.
You can book ferries to France from 6 ports in England (Dover, Folkestone, Newhaven, Portsmouth, Poole & Plymouth) or book a Eurotunnel crossing, book from 2 ports in Ireland (Cork & Rosslare), 2 ferry ports from the Channel Islands (St.Helier & St.Peter-Port) as well as from Italy, Corsica and Sardinia. If you're looking for ferries to France, it's covered by a choice of up to 160 crossings daily from the shortest and cheapest to the longest and the most luxurious.
P & O operate the Cross Channel ferries route from Dover to Calais, Norfolk Line operate from Dover to Dunkirk, whilst LD Line operate from Dover to Boulogne and Dover to Boulogne. The slightly longer routes from Newhaven to Dieppe, operated by Transmanche Ferries and the Portsmouth to Le Havre route operated by LD Line represent great value for those travelling to or from a more western direction.
The most expensive routes are the longer journeys further west operated by Brittany Ferries and Condor. If using these routes, we've found the best value to be had is to combine the crossing with an in-house hotel or holiday site, as these sometimes come with excellent discounts to make up for the cost of the ferry booking.
If you're looking for ferries to Spain, it's covered with a choice of up to 6 crossings a week from the UK, 6 weekly from Italy and 63 daily from North Africa.
Routes covered include Algeciras to Ceuta & Tangier by Euroferrys, the Portsmouth - Bilbao route (P & O), Portmouth - Santander (Brittany Ferries) and Plymouth - Santander (Brittany Ferries).
Travelling to Ireland? You can book ferries to Ireland (and from Ireland) from 5 ports in England and Wales, 3 ferry ports from France and the port of Douglas in the Isle of Man.
Other options such as Eurotunnel and Eurostar options also receive full coverage, so that all potential travel methods have comprehensive, but easy to use details.

  1. Nice informative post on ferry to france. Last month I booked a Dover-Dunkirque ferry to france for a short weekend break with my family and got a very attractive summer deal. We had a great time on the ferry enjoying the onboard facilities offered by the company.
